Manchester United’s Champions League campaign is over as Kingley Coman’s goal and Copenhagen’s win against Galatasaray capped off a nightmare European campaign for Erik ten Hag’s side.

United held their resolve for the entirety of the first half, despite Harry Maguire being forced off with a groin injury, and impressed in the opening exchanges of the second before coming undone.

Coman had threatened earlier in the match and was superbly played through by England captain and Bayern talisman Harry Kane in the 70th minute. The Frenchman smashed his shot past Andre Onana.
